I wore my Gortex jacket this morning but that did nothing for my wet feet. I discovered that there is a depression in the pavement where I set up my cameras that collects water very efficiently. However the discomfort was more than offset by the pleasure of the shimmering reflections on the road. Having the forecast turn out wrong was a bonus - it was clear and sunny before noon.

P.S. At the end of 26 weeks of dawns (half way through), there has only been six when it actually was raining as I was photographing.
